Our Events

The beautiful grounds provide an ideal location for the famous plays, with wonderful views, a landscape of lakes, plantations and ancient woodland and rich pasture for the grazing of their sheep and cattle.

The productions are much more than a series of shows, each one is an overall experience; a perfect opportunity to encounter the drama of biblical events, whether it’s the birth of Jesus or the turbulent times of the life of Christ. 

The Wintershall plays are aimed at people from all walks of life, including:

 • Children as young as 5 for the Nativity, and 8 for the Life of Christ
 • School trips
 • Group visits
 • Family outings
 • Individuals

People with disabilities are welcome and a buggy is available and, subject to prior notice, hearing interpreters are available.
