Workshops

Wintershall’s actors and Education team come together to create exciting workshops and retreats for schools and community groups, both here at Wintershall and away. 

Retreat days and workshops at Wintershall are suitable for both primary and secondary pupils and can be tailored to the needs of each school.  Popular themes include Lent and Easter reflection days, Year 6 Leavers and Transition retreats, The Wonder of Creation and the Advent Travelling Crib (available at your own school). Groups often use our retreats to explore their school values or topic of the year, sometimes combining with other local schools in the area to run a day together.  We also create days especially for secondary schools, covering topics such as: Personal Growth, Transformation, Living in Harmony, Walking in the footsteps of Jesus and Easter People. 

Our workshops are an excellent introduction to the Christian story, but they also encourage a deeper exploration of the meaning of key events in the Church year for Christians, while using drama and the creative arts, animals and the beauty of the natural environment.
