Walking the Parables of Jesus

Walking the Parables of Jesus

28 June-3 July 2021Wintershall

We are unable to perform the traditional Life of Christ play this year due to the impact of Covid. However, we are instead able to offer a new experience, ‘Walking the Parables of Jesus’.

New Dates Monday 28 June – Saturday 3 July 2021.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Wintershall, enjoy watching the stories that Jesus told, dramatised in short, captivating scenes and take time to reflect on what these might mean for us today, in our changing world. There are 5 parable scenes and the audience walks from scene to scene.

From 28 June to 2 July, schools are given time to reflect on the parable story in a variety of interactive and exciting ways. These reflection times will provide the opportunity to explore and respond to the experiences that we have all been through over the past year. Due to ongoing social distancing, schools will be allocated either a 9.30am – 2.30pm slot or a 9:45am to 2:45pm slot. As our numbers are limited, please book without delay by emailing admin@wintershall.org.uk confirming your chosen day/start time, ticket numbers/types required and your contact details or by calling 01483 892167. Child Tickets are £10.

On Saturday the 3rd of July, adult groups and families are invited to attend and they will be allocated into groups of a maximum of 60. There will be reflection material available to use either as you walk between the scenes, or following the experience during a picnic lunch or tea in the grounds. Performance timeslots are 10am – 12.30pm or 2pm - 4.30pm. Please book without delay through the Book Your Tickets box on this page as numbers are limited.

We hope these exciting retellings of Jesus’s stories will provide the time and space for your school, family or group to reflect, remember and recover together.

Please note, school bookings and groups over 10 people will require a deposit of 25%, with the balance payable by 14 May 2021.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer camping this year.

Due to the nature of this event, walking from scene to scene, this is not suitable for audience members with limited mobility.
